Hi Allen,
Have only just come across your family tree website, and gained some very interesting information, thankyou.
I was researching my Grandmothers past and couldn't believe it when I came across Emily Eliza Cook, plus a photograph, which is real rarity.
My Grandmother was Bessie Cook born in Totton in 1882, she married Sidney Herbert Harvey in 1913. Bessie's father was Samuel Cook born in the New Forest in 1853,he was John Thomas Cook's brother, born 1850,who was Emily Eliza Cook's father.
It was great to find the Maiden names of
John Thomas Cook's/ Elias Cook's wives.
Iv'e managed to go back one further step on the Cook's side, to Joseph Cook born in 1791, and his wife Elizabeth Cook
born 1787, they were john Thomas Cook's
grandparents.
If anyone out there could throw anymore light on my past, I would be pleased to hear from you. Thankyou Brian Harvey.

Dear Alan,
My daughter Lisa has sent me details of your web site.
Lisa has sent you information as to our back-ground i.e. descendants of the Casson-Pearce family from Poole.
My grand father William Pearce Casson was born in Egremont in Cumbria. He later on moved to Liverpool.
Where he met and married my Grandmother (Anne known as Nancy)
My father William Pearce Casson was born on 31st July 1917.
I hope now to enter your web site as yet I only have the opening page.
Thank you for making the information you have available.
Please keep up the good work you are doing.
Best regards

Hello Alan

I have been following this family tree for some time and thought I would contact you as I am a direct descendant of the Pearce/Casson family. Joseph Casson (b 1822) and Mary Pearce (b 1826) were my great, great, great grandparents. My father is William Pearce Casson as was his father before him (b 1917). I believe he is the fifth member of the family to hold this name.

My parents recently visited Poole to view some of the areas where distant relatives once lived and obtain copies of birth and marriage certificates of various ancestors.

I am looking forward to viewing the remainder of your tree and photographs. I would like to thank you and your family for taking the time to compile this fascinating family history and enabling it to be viewed publicly.

Let me know if you would like to add my branch of the family to the tree.

Regards, Lisa

Your website is wonderful, so concise and user friendly. I have found two second Rae cousins - an arm of the family I had no idea existed.
Well done and many thanks for your help in putting together my tree.
