Even Robert Roy who lived in Ilminster some 60 miles away. He expected that the other brothers would contribute to the Blue Line coach company fare for this weekly meeting.

    21st September 1921 the Mayor of Poole Councillor J.C.Warne Julyan revived the Beating of the Sea Bounds of Poole and revived the office of Admiral. Accompanied by his chaplain the Rev. Lawrence Phillips, Rector of Poole together with Magistrates, Aldermen and Councillors re-enacting the ancient ceremonies last performed in 1821. The Winchelsea Certificate dated 26th April 1364 started the whole event.
